Goneso Group needed £1023.26 for their business.
Gladys Foya is 43 years old, she is a member of the Goneso Group. She has 2 children. Only 1 of her children is still going to school and the other one is no longer a dependent. She separated with her husband some years ago. She is staying in Darwendale, Harare. She is doing farming business as she plants maize and also rears poultry. She started her businesses after she separated with her husband. The main motive was to be able to pay school fees for her children as well as covering some household expenses. Her business is now her main source of income. With the profits she got, she paid school fees for her first born who completed his studies. She restocks her broiler chickens from a local company. She supplies chicken to local canteens as well as selling to individuals. Her business has been successful but since her fowl run is big she is willing fully utilise it. Gladys will use her portion of $500 to buy a batch of 150 broiler chicken to raise.
