Nancy maritza needed £1250.00 for her business.
Nancy Casanova is married with two daughters, both of whom are in school. Her husband works as a carpenter. About two years ago, Doña Nancy established a kiosk selling soft drinks, snacks and sweets in one of the town squares which attracts many passing customers. She received a permit from the local council for the kiosk and began the business with a loan of $800 from her brother.
Doña Nancy works seven days a week. In the mornings she is by herself but in the afternoons her daughters come and help after school. Doña Nancy has started preparing cooked food at home and selling this as well and this has proved very profitable. Typically she might prepare burgers, chips and rice. Her sales are at their highest at weekends. On average she earns a profit of around $230 per month. Doña Nancy requested a loan to buy an industrial oven so that she can work more efficiently and any remaining funds are for extra stock.
