Yisela del rocio needed £1666.67 for her business.
Yisela Saraguro is married with a daughter who is five years old. She has a business selling clothes as an itinerant trader. Her husband works in a mine and often spends long periods away from home. Doña Yisela decided to start her own business to help her husband meeting the household’s expenses since the income he earned was not enough. She buys her stock from larger cities such as Guayaquil, Cuenca and the border town of Huaquillas. She travels once every fortnight to buy new stock to sell. She advertises her clothes through social networking. Among the items she sells are casual clothes, sportswear, children’s clothes and lingerie. She usually makes deliveries in the afternoons. Doña Yisela considers her business has grown steadily as she has gradually gained more and more customers, particularly since she allows customers to take items on credit. She has used part of her profits to build the foundations for a new home, she hopes to continue the work and when she has enough money. On average she makes a monthly profit of around $520. Doña Yisela requested a loan to finance another visit and buy extra stock.
