Flying Eagles Group needed £1240.60 for their business.
Sylivia Chimbizi joined three other members and formed a group named Flying Eagles. The group is based in Dema with all members being hard workers. All of them have good poultry businesses.
Sylivia Chimbizi is a 25-year-old, she runs a good hardware business in Chitungwiza. She resides in Dema growth point in Seke with her husband and their only child. Sylivia has good business management skills and her daily commitment enabled her to survive in this business for the past 2 years. She started with a small vegetable stall which was at her gate side, however she got a start-up capital from her relatives and started her hardware in Southly Park, in new stands. She wakes up daily and travels about 20 km from Dema to Southly Park where she spends most of her day time. She has a person who helps her. She sells building materials such as nails, doors, and window panes. She also sells electric adapters and irons. The group approached Thrive Microfinance and requested a loan. Sylivia is planning to restock door frames and roofing materials with her share of the loan. Other group members are planning to restock broiler chicks as they have poultry businesses.
Please note that Zimbabwe is at present going through a severe economic recession and that there is an additional risk that some of the loans might be delayed or defaulted. You can find more information here.
