Mazvikadei Group needs just £553.33 to complete their loan
The increase of meat consumption through braais that is familiarly well known in vernacular as “gochi gochi” has demanded a lot of different spices. Quickly identifying the market as niche, Surprise Kaisi, a business minded lady who resides in Crowborough North in Harare, started supplying spices to different butcheries and night clubs as well as shops that sell spices. With a valid passport, Surprise decided to look for cheaper spice prices across the border in South Africa so that she will increase her profits every month. She supplies black pepper, white pepper, thyme, and rosemary among many others. Her business has boosted a lot through acquiring successive loans from Thrive together with her group member. Their group is called Mazvikadei and is based in Crowborough North, Harare.
Surprise is a widowed and mother of two, both her children are going to school. With her passport crossing frequency, she is getting more orders for spices and is getting better returns that she can cater for her offspring’s fees. She is thirty-eight years old and feels she is still energetic to carry on with business. Surprise is confident that she has not yet reached her full potential and that she can get more returns than she is getting now. Mazvikadei group members applied for a loan, Surprise’s portion of the loan will go to restock more spices.
Please note that Zimbabwe is at present going through a severe economic recession and that there is an additional risk that some of the loans might be delayed or defaulted. You can find more information here.
