Quatro Group needed £750.00 for their business.
Constance Makore member of the Quatro Group is a 43-year-old, she is married and lives with her family in Whitecliff Township in Zvimba. Her husband is a self-employed tailor and they have 3 children all attend local schools in Whitecliff.
She manufactures and sells hairpieces (wigs). She has been involved in this business for more than 3 years. Constance purchases hairpieces from Harare, and intertwines them into wigs which she sells to her neighbours and she also supplies her products to retailors at Mbare Musika. Constance has been largely dependent upon this business in taking care of her family. Constance and 2 other women members of the Quatro group came to Thrive Microfinance last year in August, and they received their first loans. They are very grateful to Thrive Microfinance and all its partners for the first loan they received since the loan has helped them in comfortably running their business. Constance has improved her business, in the past she used to have challenges in comfortably paying school fees, but since she received her first Thrive loan she has been comfortably managing to pay all school fees. The group has approached Thrive Microfinance for a second loan. Constance needs another loan to buy more raw materials for her business so that she can manufacture wigs in bulk. She has received new orders from customers in Chinhoyi so she needs more capital to meet the demand from both Harare and Chinhoyi.
Please note that Zimbabwe is at present going through a severe economic recession and that there is an additional risk that some of the loans might be delayed or defaulted. You can find more information here.
