Tatenda Group needed £738.81 for their business.
One of the members of the Tatenda group is Cecilia Mutsvati, a 41-year-old mother of 3. She is looking for a loan of $150 to buy more pots and dishes to be able to serve more people thereby increasing her profits in her catering (take-away) outlet. Her catering (take-away) outlet sells cooked soot, rice, chicken and beef. Tragically Cecilia was widowed in 2003 leaving her as the sole provider for her family. She wants all her children to be able to go to school and wants to be able to renovate the home so that her children have a safe and comfortable place to grow up. Cecilia knows that in order to do this she needs to grow her business catering (take-away) outlet so that she can increase her profits.
There are five women in the Tatenda group. They are looking to borrow a total of $900 as a group. Tatenda group has total dependants of 17 who will be supported by the surplus income of this loan. With MicroLoan’s support, they want to help their families on their journey out of poverty.
