Simukai Group needs just £1058.89 to complete their loan
The five women in the Simukai group run a variety of businesses, including selling poultry, farming, and general trading. Otilia, a 53-year-old mother of six, is one member of the group. Sadly, Otilia recently lost her husband, leaving her as the sole income earner for the family.
Otilia will use her share of the group loan to grow her poultry business by purchasing batches of chickens every fortnight. Having regular stock levels will provide her with a consistent source of income and help her increase her profits.
With her increased income Otilia wants to ensure all of her children can attend school and renovate her home so that they have a safe and comfortable place to grow up.
Please note that Zimbabwe is at present going through a severe economic recession and that there is an additional risk that some of the loans might be delayed or defaulted. You can find more information here.
