Jean paul needed £1941.18 for his business.
Jean Paul Munyaneza needs a loan to buy more food to resell in his shop. In the photos is his wife, Mashya, who works him. They normally sell rice, sugar, cooking oil, biscuits, and other things like detergents, soaps, and body lotions etc. With this loan, they will buy 60 sacks of rice for $1000, 5 sacks of sugar for $500, 200 kilograms of salt for $450, 15 litres of cooking oil for $200 and 5 boxes of batteries for $250. Among the expenses, they will cover some expenses themselves, like transport, tax, and paying the 6 people they hire to help them load and to offload the goods when needed. They chose to start this business 7 years ago as they wanted to find an activity that can generate income for their family and because they have a lot of clients in their village. They have been able to hire 6 people through their business, in addition to him and his wife. They have been able to send their children to school as well. In the future, they would like to expand their business to the extent that it will double within two years. This is their fifth loan, with the previous loans, they were able to start this business and even acquire a small house where they now live and are expanding.
