Plum Group needed £1155.80 for their business.
Ambition is the path to success, persistence is the vehicle you arrive in. Sophia is a 46 year old mother of 3 who lives in a village called Chiriseri. Sophia has been a tailor for close to 20 years now and she is still going strong in that business. Her business is the main source of income for her family and quality is the most important aspect to her business. Sophia told us that one of the secrets to her success is that she provides high quality products all the time. She designs different types of clothes from different clothing materials and most of her community members support her a lot in business by buying clothes from her. With her previous loan amount of $300, she managed to purchase more materials for her business and as well repaired her two domestic machines. Orders that Sophia gets from her clients have become more than she can meet. She decided to apply for a second loan with her group members so she can meet this demand for her business. She will use her loan to restock the materials she needs to fulfill her orders.
Please note that Zimbabwe is at present going through a severe economic recession and that there is an additional risk that some of the loans might be delayed or defaulted. You can find more information here.
