Care Group Vahasukore needed £2261.97 for their business.
CARE Group Vahasukore which translates “Stand up and work” is a Voluntary Savings and Loan Group which was created by CARE Rwanda back in 2015. It has 30 members: 26 women and 4 men. This loan is going to help them buy more livestock because all the group members rear goats, sheep and chicken. Clementine Twagiramariya is one of the group members who has learned a lot from working together with others in this group. She has acquired how to manage their activities and this has given her a chance of doing something that generates small income for her family. She sends all her four children to school, buys clothes for them,.. In the future, the group wants to buy a big farm where they can rear their livestock. They also want to help each other so that some of them who did not have a chance to go to school. They take to school their children up to the university.
These groups are a critical first step towards financial inclusion, but as groups mature, they may seek larger loans and investment than the group can provide. By investing in CARE group Vahasukore, you are supporting their next step into financial inclusion.
