Care Group Turwanyubukene needed £1363.38 for their business.
CARE Group Turwanyubukene needs a loan to buy more seeds for growing potatoes. The group as a saving group was established by CARE Rwanda in 2015. The group is composed by 30 members: 24 women and 6 men. They are all farmers. This loan will help them buy seeds to grow irish potatoes. in order to increase the harvest that they get and continue to develop themselves. Daniel NZABANDORA is one group member, he has benefited a lot from the group as it has given her a step out of poverty and he continues to grow and develop. He has been able to purchase a land where he can build a house for his family. He has 5 children like the majority of the group members and he has been able to take them to school because other group members have helped him as coming together and putting an idea of doing small income generating activities like growing potatoes into practice. In the future, the group intends to buy a stock and they will multiply seeds for other fellow farmers who will need it will get it at a fairly lower price.
These groups are a critical first step towards financial inclusion, but as groups mature, they may seek larger loans and investment than the group can provide. By investing in CARE group Turwanyubukene, you are supporting their next step into financial inclusion.
