Immaculata needed £774.65 for her business.
Immaculata Karimanzira resides in Chitungwiza. She is 54 years old and wishes the best for her children. She currently survives on the income her husband earns as a permanent supervisor at a private firm in South Sudan. Immaculata spends most of her time doing part time tutorials for advanced level students, a small business that she thinks is helpful to her and her community. Since the time she worked in the ministry of education she really values the importance of education. Immaculata and her husband have managed to build a solid foundation for their 4 children who all got the chance to go to better schools. Three of their children have completed their education and they are now in their own houses. She believes nurturing children the right way enables them to have a brighter future without being dependent on their parents. She is left with one school going child who is doing his second year honours degree in Banking and Finance at Near East University in North Cyprus. With the current economic challenges affecting the nation at large, she approached Thrive Microfinance seeking a loan of $1000 to cover the rest of his tuition fees. Her son is named Tatenda Leo Karimanzira and is aged 24 and he promises to continue working hard so that he will not let down his parents.
Please note that Zimbabwe is at present going through a severe economic recession and that there is an additional risk that some of the loans might be delayed or defaulted. You can find more information here.
