Mushagashi Group needed £808.82 for their business.
Delisa Mutimuri is a dedicated business lady running a beverage making business. The 38 year old lady commenced this business in October 2015 after realizing that the food industry is making more profits compared to any other business at the moment. Delisa supplies her drinks to shops and tuck-shops in Chitungwiza. Currently she secures orders from Karoi were she used to live and is now restocking concentrate on a weekly basis to meet demand. Delisa is now contributing actively to her household income and assisting her husband, who is a taxi driver, to take care of their family. They have four children. Two of them are still at school. To meet the increase in demand for drinks she got additional working capital from her husband so that she could supply all her customers. However the capital was not adequate to meet all of the demand. Having heard of Thrive, she formed a group with her 2 friends who are also running small businesses in poultry and gas filling. They named their group, Mushagashi Orange after a river in Chanakira Village where the group is based. With her loan of $350, she will restock with more concentrate and packing material.
