Life is full of challenges for poor farmers living in Ngoc My commune. Mr. Bui Duc Ngoc is a farmer like that. He is 39 years old and his entire family of 3 members survive on agriculture. They have a farm of about 2100m2 where they grow sugarcane, rice and raise a buffalo. This work helps them to gain a monthly income of 143 USD on average.
Mr. Ngoc is determined to expand his farming business, so that the family can have bigger savings and repair their old house. A loan of 476 USD will enable Mr. Ngoc to buy fertilizer. The loan is to be paid back in 24 months.
