Ndodana needed £1463.71 for their business.
Fadzai is a member of the Ndodana group. She runs a business selling plastic dishes, cups and serving spoons together with second hand clothes which she restocks locally. As a business lady, she has earned a great number of customers because of her friendly nature. The way she understands each of her customer’s problems and needs has made her very popular in her location. She has the advantage of having excellent relations, and her loyal customers pay their debts at the agreed date. This makes planning easier for her as she gets the bulk of her money at month ends, which is when she goes to restock. Fadzai is 36 years old, with 2 children attending primary school, her husband is a self-employed mechanic who is also grateful to Thrive for the loan that was given to his wife. Fadzai lives in Unit D, Seke Chitungwiza, her portion of the loan is $450 and she will buy more plastic ware kitchen items such as mugs and spoons which sell very fast. She also wants to add more second hand clothes, as they are very popular with the low income earners in her neighbourhood. She wants to try by all means to increase her profits.
Please note that Zimbabwe is at present going through a severe economic recession and that there is an additional risk that some of the loans might be delayed or defaulted. You can find more information here.
