Loan description:
Pal is 34 years old and currently grows rice eight hectares. He has three children, aged between 13 and 3 years old, the older one is at school. He collects his rice crop once a year, normally the yield is two tons and half per hectare. He rents other villager’s tractor to plough the land. This rises his costs as renting the tractor costs around $60 per hectare, but also, he often has to wait until tractor to rent is available and sometimes he falls behind. For this reason, he has taken a loan to buy a walking tractor. He is intending to cut costs and waiting time which will bring more efficiency to his farming activity. He intends to repay the loan in 24 months.
