Loan description:
Tsitsi Mudzivare started a business selling babywear, cosmetics, jewellery, perfumes, bags and various accessories, which she stocks from South Africa. The business is situated in the Harare Central Business District and she employs a girl who assists her in selling as well as restocking. Consistency and hard work have made her the champion of many as she is a motivator to the other women in her group.
Tsitsi is a married mother of three children. She needs good social skills as she works mostly on referrals and advertising via social networks. She has also managed to maintain her clients through her supply of quality products and by utilising online and mobile money payments due to the cash crisis affecting her trade in Harare.
Tsitsi is a member of the Amazing Queens group, which is based in the Waterfalls suburb of Harare. The ladies have known each other from their childhood as they have stayed in the same neighbourhood and went to the same school.
Tsitsi has applied for a loan amounting to $500 as she wants to boost her stock, adding a lot of variety to meet the needs of her various clients. These include high quality jewellery for weddings, and cosmetics that protect the skin against the harsh summer conditions, as we are approaching the summer season.
