Samina Bibi is a resident of Data Nagar, an area in the city of Lahore. She is 35 years old and married. She has two sons and two daughters. All four of her children are in education. Both Samina and her husband are working. Her husband is working as a driver and he earns 25,000 rupees per month. She has been selling ladies unstitched clothes, ladies' suits and fancy suits in her neighbourhood for the past three years and earns 6,000 rupees (about $57) profit on average per month. She mostly sells ladies' fancy clothes. Their monthly outgoings include utility bills, food and clothing. They are still worried about their financial situation, so Samina has decided to buy a greater stock of clothes of different varieties to sell, and has applied for a loan to expand her business. She will buy all kind of clothes with the latest appealing designs. She promises to pay back the loan in 20 installments.
