Life is difficult for Mrs. Bui Thi Dieu and other poor farmers living in Gia Mo, Tan Lac. Mrs. Dieu is 27 years old and living with her husband and their 4 year old child. Her child has just started kindergarten so she now has more time to take care of her farm works. Mrs. Dieu grows rice and looks after few pigs for additional income. Her income is low and unstable, it fluctuates around 105 USD per month. Thanks to MACDI fund’s guidance, Mrs. Dieu decided to make her breeding business grow bigger. A loan will make it easier for her to purchase more livestock and good livestock food. The loan will be fully repaid within 24 months.
