The Co-operative
The Co-operative is partnering with lendwithcare.org to help us grow and help even more entrepreneurs in more countries. The Co-operative stands apart from other major businesses in the UK as an organisation which is owned, not by investor shareholders, but by over six million consumer members. As well as having clear financial and operational objectives, The Co-operative has also set out its social and sustainability goals in its groundbreaking Ethical Plan, including several ambitious targets to help tackle global poverty. In the same way The Co-operative pioneered Fairtrade, which is about supporting producers to trade their way out of poverty, lendwithcare.org will allow it to lead the way in helping to turn entrepreneurs' plans into life-changing opportunities.

He has been named Royal Television Society Presenter of the Year and, in 2006, was awarded the OBE for his work in broadcasting and for charity. Speaking about his trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina to see lendwithcare in action he said “It is a moving experience to see how little, administered by caring and committed people, can take some of their fellow human-beings out of despair….It is impossible to describe how proud I am to support a charity at the heart of that process.”

Kate Garraway, Ambassador
Kate Garraway is a lendwithcare.org Ambassador. She travelled to Togo in February 2010 to visit our MFI partner, WAGES and some lendwithcare.org entrepreneurs. Speaking about her new ambassador role, Kate Garraway said: "I was really drawn to this charity campaign because, having recently set up the discount website goodypass.com, I have become an entrepreneur myself and so I can appreciate how hard and frustrating it must be for those who are living in poverty and trying to set up a business, with no access to any financial services or other support." Kate Garraway is the Entertainment Editor of ITV morning television show Daybreak.

Deborah Meaden, Ambassador
Deborah Meaden is a lendwithcare.org ambassador, she travelled to Cambodia in March 2011 to see first hand how lendwithcare can help people work their way out of poverty. Deborah met our MFI partner CCSF and some entrepreneurs. Speaking after her visit Deborah said "I believe that providing the opportunity and framework for people to help themselves is the only sustainable way forward and I saw this very clearly on my trip to Cambodia. The people there are willing to work to repair their lives, they just need even the smallest of leg-ups to get them started."
Deborah Meaden is an entrepreneur and panelist on BBC's Dragon's Den.

Stacey Dooley, Ambassador
Stacey Dooley is a lendwithcare.org Ambassador. She travelled to Philippines in August 2011 and met our MFI partner, SEEDFinance and some lendwithcare.org entrepreneurs. Speaking about her new ambassador role, Stacey Dooley said: "The first thing I thought when I heard about lendwithcare.org was what a simple idea that could also be very effective. I think it's a great initiative and I'm made up that I was asked to help support it. I like that it's not a hand out, because these people aren't shy of work, in fact they're desperate to work. So it's not giving, it's just lending for a bit to help them out."
Stacey Dooley first shot to fame after her involvement in BBC Three series Blood, Sweat and T-Shirts. She has now presented several series on BBC Three investigating issues including child labour in the garment industry in Nepal, child soldiers in Democratic Republic of Congo and the effects of tourism in Kenya.

Kate Walsh
Kate Walsh is also supporting lendwithcare.org. Kate Walsh was the runner up in The Apprentice series 5 and is now a television presenter. Kate said "I got involved with charity CARE International UK's new website as being from a business background myself, I know how important it is to get access to finances and support to get your business started. The lendwithcare.org website is very innovative in helping those in developing countries gain access to some of these resources to help them get started, and so I felt very passionate about giving these people the opportunity to make a better life for themselves."

Bluefrog
A Third Sector specialist agency, Bluefrog and CARE International UK relationship goes back well over a decade.
