Loan description:

Agbezunke, 24, is a working man, who is married to a dressmaker. He has a wonderful 2-year-old son, who does not yet attend school. The small family lives together in the Djama neighbourhood of Atakpamé. He meets the needs of his household by working two traditional windmills that process millet, sorghum, maize, soya, wheat, beans and even tomatoes. He purchases his stock in the capital Lomé. Previously, he was a miller employed by other individuals, but he has been operating his own windmills since 2005 and employs seven people who help him with his tasks. He works on the rue Photo Iris, on the way to Djama Kpota. This is the first time that Agbezunke has applied for a loan with WAGES. He is requesting 400,000 West African francs, in order to connect his place of work to an electricity supply. This will help to develop his work. The traditional windmill that he currently uses costs too much to maintain and consumes a huge amount of diesel. However, with this financial support, he will save more and the mill will work more efficiently. The loan will be paid off in twelve monthly instalments. Given that his work brings huge benefits to his neighbourhood and to his employees, Agbezunke wishes to increase his number of sites and increase his sources of income.
