Loan description:

Analiza Cangmanong is 33 years old and married with two children who attend their local primary school in the town of Tuburan in the province of Cebu. She has a fruit and vegetable stall in the town's public market. Mainly she focuses on selling bananas and sweet potatoes. Her husband helps her out occasionally especially when ordering from suppliers. Although she does sell retail, many of her customers are owners of a variety of market food stalls, cafes and restaurants, particularly those who make and sell 'bananacues' (sugar-coated fried bananas) and 'kamotecues' (sugar-coated fried sweet potatoes). She applied for a short term loan from the microfinance organisation, First Consolidated, in order to help her in purchasing more stock. She wants to diversify into other varieties aside from bananas and sweet potatoes. She intends to repay the loan over 4 months.
