His shop is called 'Ets Fofone' and is located on the roundabout in the Agbonou district. He buys his products in Lomé, the capital of Togo. He was still a student when he started his business in 2005. Yaovi was one of the first people to benefit from the microfinance institution WAGES scheme and this will be his third loan. The first loan he took out was 600,000 West African francs which he repaid in 12 monthly installments. This allowed him to take out a second loan of 500,000 francs which he also repaid on time. Yaovi would now like to borrow 750,000 francs which he plans to repay in 12 monthly instalments. Yaovi will use the money to buy more television sets, DVD players, satellite dishes and electrical goods. His ambition is to become the most successful wholesaler in the town of Atakpamé. He will use any profits he makes to provide a good home for his family.
