Enyonam, 40, is a dynamic entrepreneur with two children, aged 15 and 20, who are both in full-time education. Her husband works in the rubber industry. Since 2008, she has been selling balls of mashed maize known as kom, which are very popular in southern Togo. The kom are served with a lightly-spiced tomato sauce and fried fish. Enyonam prepares the dishes at home and sells them from a stand in a corner of a Texaco petrol station. Before beginning this business in 2008, she sold general produce. This is Enyonam’s first loan. The requested amount of 100,000 CFA francs, which will be repaid over 12 months, will be used to buy maize and seasoning, allowing her to meet her customers’ needs. She hopes that the financial support offered by the microfinance organisation WAGES will enable her to expand her business and set up a restaurant, which will offer an ideal setting for serving her customers.

ENYONAM est un entrepreneur dynamique âgée de 40ans. Elle est mère de 02 enfants âgés respectivement de 20 et 15 ans. Tous les deux sont scolarisés. Son mari est vulcanisateur. Depuis 2008, elle est revendeuse de KOM, pate faite à base de mais très appréciée dans le sud Togo. Les boules de KOM s’accompagnent de la sauce tomate légèrement épicée avec des poissons frits. La préparation des mets se fait à son domicile et elle revend sous un hangar dans un coin de la station service TEXACO. Avant de se lancer dans cette activité en 2008, elle revendait des produits génériques. Enyonam est à sa première expérience en microcrédit. Elle sollicite ce premier prêt de 100 000 FCFA remboursable en 12 mois pour acheter du mais et des condiments pour les besoins de sa clientèle. Elle espère qu’avec l’appui financier de WAGES, elle pourra accroitre son activité et installer un restaurant offrant un cadre idéal pour la satisfaction de ses clients.
