Bopha is 29 years old and married with a baby daughter who is just three months old. Bopha and her husband own a shop located on the main road in the village of Savy Chrum, Chrey commune, near Battambang. Bopha sells gasoline, gas, soft drinks, and her husband also repairs motorcycles. They started the business soon after they were married about three years ago. New supplies of gasoline and gas are delivered by her supplier directly to her home. Bopha has been a member of the Chrey Credit Union since 2005. She has sought a loan to buy gasoline, gas, soft drink, and motorcycle spare parts. She expects to repay the loan over 12 months.
