Since Filipinos believe in the effectiveness of massage therapy in curing an assortment of illnesses, reflexology has become very popular. Fe Arellano is 26 years and married. She works as a reflexologist in the town of Tabuelan Cebu. She provides treatment to customers who feel unwell and stressed. Often she visits those too ill to travel at their homes. She has requested a small loan to buy materials, oils and ointments that she uses in her therapy.  She intends to repay the loan over four months. Her future plans include purchasing a motorcycle (one of the most common types of transport in the Philippines) so that it is easier to travel to and from work.
