Mémounantou is 50 years old. She is married and has 4 children, all of them enrolled in school. She used to trade in textiles and shoes, but had to abandon this activity because of poor sales. For the last 15 years, Mémounantou has been a red palm oil producer, she is based in the town of Pobe. Most of her production is sold at the Pobe market, but also in Nigeria. In addition to this activity, she sells various ointments and beauty products for hair and body. Mémounantou buys palm nuts in the fields surrounding her village and the cosmetics at the Cotonou market. Mémounantou has been a customer of the ACFB for the past 5 years and she is now applying for a new loan that will allow her to procure a large amount of palm nuts and various beauty products for both her business. She intends to repay the credit over a period of 12 months. The profit generated will improve the living standards of her family, but will also help her to increase her capital.

Après avoir abandonné son commerce de tissus et chaussures pour mévente, depuis 15 ans elle exerce comme principale activité la production d’huile rouge à base des noix de palme dans la localité de Pobè. La plus grande partie de sa production est livrée sur le marché de Pobè et sur celui du Nigéria. En plus de cette activité, elle a pour activité secondaire la vente de diverses pommades pour le corps ou les cheveux. Mèmounantou s’approvisionne en noix de palme dans les champs de son village et en diverses pommades dans le marché internationale de Cotonou. Bénéficiaire des produits de l’ACFB depuis 5 ans, elle sollicite à présent un prêt d’un montant de 500.000FCFA afin de renforcer son capital c’est-à-dire s’approvisionner en 3 bâchés de noix de palme puis en diverses pommades pour une valeur de 200.000FCFA. Elle souhaite rembourser ce crédit sur une durée de 12mois. Le profit dégagé contribuera en grande partie à l’amélioration des conditions de vie de sa famille mais aussi l’aidera à épargner pour augmenter son capital
