Ama is 42 years old. She is married. Her husband is a mechanic and they have five children. She lives with her family at Avedji. To contribute to the family’s outgoings she sells charcoal close to her home. She buys charcoal in Anié, a small village near Atakpamé. She is used to saving small amounts of money with our partner, WAGES and she now wishes to take a loan payable over 12 months in order to buy more bags of charcoal which will increase her profits and better contribute to the happiness of her family.
