Bintou is a 30 years old woman.. She is married to an electrician. She looks after her family also by working also as a retailer. She lives in Lome and has a shop in the same area where she lives. She sells baby’s products such as nappies, feeding-bottles and toys. To find better prices, she often travels to Ghana where she can find good quality goods at a very low price. She is well known for the quality of the clothes and items she sells and the demand for her products has increased. People come from different places around her quarter and even from villages near to buy her goods. Unfortunately she has not been able to meet some of the recent demand. However, with the microfinance institution WAGES she can solve this problem. She is applying for a loan worth 500.000 FCFA in order to buy a large stock of nappies, the product with more demand. She hopes for a prosperous future and she has faith that her family will improve and develop.
