Analiza Falcon is 33 years and has 2 children aged 1 and 6. Along with her 34 year old husband, Michael, the family lives in Nueva Ecija province. The couple run a small shop retailing gasoline used by jeepney and tricycle drivers. Analiza is requesting a loan of $394 (15,000 Philippine pesos) from the microfinance organisation Alalay sa Kaunlaran in order to buy additional quantities of gasoline. She has promised to repay this over a six month period. She hopes to build a larger and safer storage area.
