Rolly Quejada is 32 years old and has three young children. Along with his wife, Lanya, the family lives in Nueva Ecija province. For the past seven years, Rolly has been producing rings (jewellry) and other accessories from stainless steel and locally supplied silver. He has six employees to assist him in his business. He is requesting a loan of $788 (30,000 Philippine pesos) from the microfinance organisation Alalay sa Kaunlaran ro purchase more raw materials for his ring production and has promised to repay this over a twelve month period. He hopes to have his own factory someday.
