Pauline Ogoudoussi is married with 2 children, one of them at school. Pauline is 28 years old and for 10 years she has produced and sold cassava flour or gari. She has a number of customers both wholesale and retail. Pauline buys her supplies in the fields and in the Gbegon market. She has one employee to help with the production. Pauline has received loans from ACFB before. She is, at present, requesting a loan of $1,100. She will use some of this money not only to buy a modern presser - required for the production of gari - but also to expand her capital and buy supplies in bulk. She will use the profits from this loan to help her husband with the school fees and to increase her savings towards purchasing more equipment required for her gari production workshop.
