Mawouna 36 and is married to a taxi driver and lives in the neighborhood of SEGBE with her four children. Only two children are of school age. The oldest child is sixteen years old while the youngest is one year old. Mawouna and has a stall in Agoè market where she sells corn, beans and millet which she buys from the town of GLEI. For some time she has been nervous about taking a loan from a microfinance organisation, but since discovering our partner, WAGES and their good loan terms and concern for their clients she feels more confident to take a loan - this will enable her to buy stock in bulk and get a better price. She can then afford to store some of the stock so she can sell it at the time that is will fetch the best price in the local market, thus increasing her profits. Increased profits will enable her to provide better living conditions for her children. She will repay the loan over twelve months.
