Loan description:
Na Her is 35 years old and married, but they don’t have any children yet. They live in Botsala village, Chheu Theal commune, Banon district, Battamang province. Na and her husband have farmed corn for the past three years and they farm approximately 10,000 square meters. They need to look after their corn during three months after which time they can pick harvest to sell their corn to in bulk to the trader who bids the higher price. After the corn has harvested then they start to grow some vegetables such as cabbage and aubergine on their farm which means they can get more income for the household. To grow corn regularly they have applied a loan in order to buy seed of the corn, diesel for a hand tractor and insecticide.
