Fanny Lucía Loján Cisneros is a single mother with a five year old son who goes to school. She lives in the district of 'María Auxiliadora' in the town of Catamayo. She received assistance from her sisters in establishing a small business and how to cook and manage a food stall selling rice and barbecued chicken wings in the town's commercial area. She rents a room to live in and receives some financial support from her son's father. She has been doing this for around 18 months and works each day from around 5 pm to 10 pm. During the day she looks after her son, cleans and cooks. Fanny requested a loan to use as working capital, helping her to buy food and other ingredients over the next few months.
