Loan description:
Sina Run is 21 years old and married with one son who is one years old. Sina and his family live in Odambang village, which is in Sangke district, Battabmang province. Sina has been a construction work for the past five years and can earn around $4 a day from this work. However, Sina and his wife (Chanra, shown in the photograph) also farm around 4,800 square metres of land and the yield provides them with around one tonne of rice. They stock this rice for their own consumption. As their source of funds is currently limited, they have applied for a loan in order to cover the cost of ploughing their land and to buy fertiliser. They aim to repay this loan over ten months. They also plan to raise some chickens from their home which will provide them with another source of income for their household.
