Bosnia-Herzegovina
Loan description:
Razija Hodzic was born in 1959. She lives with her husband and their son in Gracanica in northern Bosnia. Gracanica is between Tuzla and Dobij. Razija farms some land and also has two cows. She sells milk on a daily basis and also makes some dairy products such as cheese. She applied for a loan from the microcredit foundation 'Women for Women International' in order to buy another cow and calf. She wants to expand her business. Her hope is that her son continues with his education and eventually finds professional employment. This is a challenge as the economic situation in Bosnia is bleak and formal jobs few and far between. This is in fact her fifth loan, she has invested her previous loans well and always repaid promptly and in full. This loan is repayable over 15 months.
Loan added: 31 May 2012
