Mirjana Tadic is 43 years old and divorced. She lives in Vucja Luka near Sarajevo with her 15 year old son, who goes to secondary school. She works for a company that manufactures doors, which is a very difficult job for a woman. She also owns a cow. After she finishes at work she goes home to help her son with his homework and take care of her cow, which produces enough milk for her to produce and sell to bring in extra income. She needs a loan so that she can purchase another cow, increase her revenue and improve the living conditions and education of her son.
