Loan description:
Julia Moreno is 41 years old and married with two children who are both still at school. She used to sell vegetables as an itinerant saleswoman on the street, particularly on the days denominated 'feria libre' when sellers can freely sell on the pavements outside the markets and other designated places. She managed though to eventually obtain a fixed stall in the town's public market. She sells chickens, perhaps one of the most profitable activities. Her husband is a mason. They managed to save and buy a small plot of land and eventually constructed their own home. However, the house is only partially built and she has sought a loan in order to finish some construction work so that the home is ready to live in. Her business is profitable and she expects to be able to generate enough profits to meet the monthly repayments. The loan is for ten months.
