Loan description:
Margarita Camacho is 56 years old and is married with four children, two of whom are now adults. However, she still provides economic assistance to all of them because they are all still in education, although the older ones also work part-time. Her husband farms a smallholding. Many years ago she bought a small plot of land upon which subsequently she constructed her small house. She has a business raising and selling animals, in particular pigs and chickens. It is profitable and can be done largely from home which means she can also fulfill household tasks as well. She sells the animals locally. She also takes in washing and returns the clothing ironed also. She sought a loan from the microfinance organisation Fundacion FACES in order to buy more animals to raise. The loan is repayable over six months.
