Loan description:
Marb Te is 42 years old and married to Ang Hang. Marb and Ang have two daughters who are aged 15 and 11. Both their daughters are currently studying at the local school. They live in Kach Rotes village, which is in Sangke district, Battambang province. Marb and Ang have been engaged in a business selling dried fish for the past ten years. They generally buy the fish for their business directly from villagers who fish at the nearby lake and Marb takes the dried fish, by motorbike, to the local market to sell. Marb and Ang usually sell their fish in bulk at the market and they save the income they generate from this for their family's expenses. As their source of income is currently limited; they have taken out a loan in order to buy more fish to sell. They will repay this loan over nine months.
