Loan description:
Chenda Nhous is 24 years old and married with one child who is one years old. Chenda and his family live in Thmey village, which is in Sangke district, Battambang province. Chenda is a farmer and presently farms five hectares of rice paddy. The yield provides him with approximately two tonnes per hectare and he stocks one and a half tonnes of this for his family's need and sells the remainder to a local trader. To increase the convenience and efficiency of his farming, Chenda needs a hand tractor to help with operations. As his working capital is currently limited, he has applied for a loan in order to buy a small hand tractor. He expects to pay this loan back over nine months.
