Christian is a young man of 27 years who specialises in the sale of spare vehicle parts. He is married; his wife stays at home working as a housewife. They live in Gnagna, the old quarter in the city of Atakpamé and do not yet have any children. It is in this small and peaceful neighbourhood that Christian manages his shop, which is situated on the road that leads to the microfinance organisation WAGES. He started his business in 2005, selling parts that he purchases from Lomé or Nigeria. Christian would like to see his business expand and even become a wholesaler. He currently employs one person and would like to take on more as his business evolves. He would like to have the support of WAGES behind his business and is therefore seeking a loan for 900,000 West African francs over 15 months. This loan will allow Christian to expand his stock of spare parts, by purchasing items from Nigeria where they are cheaper. Christian hopes that his investment will ensure the financial prosperity of his family.

Christian est un jeune homme de 27 ans spécialisé dans la vente de pièces détachées pour les motos. Il est marié à une jeune ménagère. Ils n’ont pas encore d’enfants et vivent ensemble dans le petit quartier historique de GNAGNA, dans la ville d’ATAKPAME.
C’est dans ce petit quartier paisible que Christian gère son magasin, situé sur la route menant à l’agence de WAGES. Depuis 2005, année à partir de laquelle son activité a démarré, il y vend des pièces qu’il achète à LOME ou au NIGERIA. Christian aimerait voir son activité prendre de l’ampleur et devenir grossiste plutôt que vendeur au détail. Aujourd’hui il emploie 1 personne et espère embaucher davantage d’employés quand ses activités évolueront.
Il a souhaité que WAGES l’accompagne dans son projet en sollicitant un premier prêt d’un montant de 900 000FCFA sur 15 mois. L’intégralité de ce prêt servira à acheter des pièces détachées pour motos qu’il ira payer depuis le Nigeria où elles sont moins chères.
Christian espère que son investissement assurera la prospérité financière pour sa famille.
