Loan description:

Cesaria Devilleres is 56 years old and married. She is responsible for providing for the needs of her 20 year old son who is currently in education and her 3 year old daughter. Her husband is a 58 year old businessman named Danilo who works in the livestock industry. Cesaria is an owner of a progressing general store located in the rural area of Bon-Bon, in the town of Oslob in Cebu province. The store sells a wide range of consumable merchandise for every household in her community. It includes powdered drinks, canned goods, hygienic products, detergent soaps and sodas. This has been her business for 2 years now and she has managed to maintain a good number of stocks for customers. She also offers a few kilos of feed for hogs and chickens as an additional source of income and to help livestock business owners to have a cheaper source of food for their animals. She benefitted from a small loan from the microfinance organisation, Lamac Multi-Purpose Cooperative where she has been a member for 6 years. This has been her third loan from the institution after repaying two previous loan requests. She will use it in order to purchase further stocks of merchandise and feed. A part of the loan will be used to acquire a small refrigerator for the business. The income she will receive is for the studies of her son and needs of her granddaughter. Cesaria and her husband will strive harder to have a larger grocery store someday. She is willing to repay the loan over a period of twelve months.
