Ireine is 40 years old, single and has no children. For twenty years she has chiefly made her living through sewing. As her work is of high quality, her charges low and she has no competitors in her area, she has been able to establish and maintain a customer base of significant size. In addition to this, Ireine makes a trade selling fabrics and haberdashery. She used to run a general store, but she brought this business to an end once she had completed her seamstress training so that she could open up her own workshop. She currently has four employees, who are apprentices with her. Ireine stocks up on supplies at the international market in Cotonou. Having remained true in her commitments towards the microfinance organisation ACFB, she is requesting a loan for 500,000 West African francs so that she can expand her stock of supplies to better satisfy the demands of her customers. The ensuing profit from this loan would help Ireine to expand her business selling fabrics and haberdashery.

Agée de 40 ans, elle est célibataire sans enfant. Dame GBOGBO exerce depuis environ une vingtaine d’année comme activité principale la couture. Ayant des concurrentes dans sa zone, elle arrive à mobiliser et à fidéliser une importante taille de clientèle grâce à sa politique de réduction de prix et surtout à la qualité de son travail. A cela, Ireine ajoute le commerce des tissus et de la mercerie. Elle faisait le commerce des produits divers mais a abandonner cette activité après sa formation en couture pour l’ouverture de son atelier de travail. Elle dispose de 04 employés actuellement en apprentissage chez elle. Dame GBOGBO s’approvisionne en fourniture sur le marché international de Cotonou. Fidèle à ses engagements au niveau de l’ACFB, elle sollicite un prêt de 500.000FCFA, qui lui permettra de renouveler son stock de fournitures afin de mieux satisfaire sa clientèle. Le profit tiré de ce prêt m’aiderait à agrandir mon commerce de pagne et de mercerie nous a-t-elle confié.
