Loan description:
Maroya, 35, is a wife and a mother to four children – two are already enroled at primary school and the other two are still very young. She lives in the village of Pobè. She started her retail business selling condiments and has run this business for 17 years now. She stocks up on produce at the market of Dantokpa in Cotonou or at the market of Ouando in Porto-Novo. Having benefitted on several occasions from the loans of microfinance organisation ACFB, she is now requesting a loan for 300,000 West African francs to expand her stock of merchandise. With this she will be able to purchase four bags of garlic, two bags of pepper, four boxes of baking soda, one basket of shrimp, broth and sauces for her other dishes. In this way, the profit from this loan will greatly help her family to improve their quality of life and will contribute to the children’s school fees.
