Nermina Grahic is 28 years old and married. She lives with her husband Adem live in the hamlet of Begov Han near the town of Zenica in central Bosnia. Adem is a mechanic and works in a garage. They do not have any children yet. Nermina has had two loans from the Microfinance Foundation 'Women for Women International'. She has proved to be extremely hardworking and a reliable client. She grows raspberries during the spring and summer. She sells these to a farmers cooperative of which she is a member. She also has a cow and produces milk, homemade cheese and cream. She keeps some of this production for her own family consumption and sells the remainder to neighbours. She has a business selling clothes and other household items at the market and also to her neighbours during the autumn and winter. Nermina applied for her third loan in order to buy more clothing and household items for the forthcoming holiday and festival period. She remarked that 'With a little effort you can achieve a very good results'.
