Loan description:

Rolando Lauron is 39 years old and married. He lives in the neighbourhood of Liki in the town of Sogod in Cebu province. He has a small business making decorations and ornaments from plants, twigs and other natural materials. He has had this business for about four years. He employs three full time assistants. He often works in response to specific orders and customer requests. This season, Rolando is managing the production of decorations shaped like monkeys and other animals. Rolando sought a small loan from the microfinance organisation, First Consolidated, in order to buy raw materials in bulk such as dried twigs. He also wants to purchase paints to make his decorations more attractive. He dreams of being a distributor of large quantities of beautiful handicrafts and generate employment for others in Sogod. Rolando intends to repay the loan over a period of four months.
